The Omega Point is a Melbourne/Narrm-based music project of Alex Clouston, blending electronic music with immersive, performative storytelling.
The Omega Point is recently embarked on an EU/ UK having performed in London, Berlin, Paris, Vilnius and Vienna throughout November / December 2025.
The Omega Point plays in varying formations from solo to collective - more than a music project, it's a concept. Core collaborators are Mark Conroy and Alex O'Connell. Awreylia performs with us regularly, and Alexander Meagher has joined us multiple times on percussion.
In 2022 The Omega Point sold out the debut performances of their opera COMMUNE, supported by City of Melbourne Arts Grants.
The audio-visual album of COMMUNE will premiere in 2027 along with a re-staging of COMMUNE: A Gothic Eco Opera.
We create on the unceded lands of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation. We pay our respects to their elders past, present and emerging.
