As musicians / artists The Omega Point contemplate how to capture  the traces of humanity within an accelerating technological culture, in particular our unique ability to seek meaning and purpose through myth creation, ritual, song and dance.

 

Described as the makers of 'a wild brand of apocalyptic art music' by Stuart Buchanan, Digital Curator of The Sydney Opera House and creator of 'The New Weird Australia' Podcast,

The Omega Point is a Melbourne/ Narrm based music and multimedia project, conceived by Alexandra Moon and El Paul Michel (also of Walls and Waves), is an Audio/ Visual project that fuses electronic  music with  performative storytelling and video art. They are joined by multi-instrumentalist and Mariachi Alejandro Espino Aldana and percussionist Alexander Meagher and a 7 person choir.
